Tang Renaissance has received approval as an Institution of a Public Character (IPC) by the Singapore Government’s Charities Unit (Commissioner of Charities) from 27 August 2021 to 26 February 2023. With the IPC status, we are able to issue tax-deductible receipts (TDR) for qualifying donations to donors. Donors are able to claim tax relief from their assessable income based on the amount donated, at the prevailing deduction rate (applicable to donations of SGD100 or more).
OUR ICONIC INITIATIVES
Professional Training
We provide 10-15 lessons (1-hour per lesson) every month to our performers (1 to 1 lesson via Zoom) to master their performance’s item with a professional coach in China.
Shanghai Yue Opera Appreciation Night
Shanghai Yue Opera Appreciation Night is conducted on a yearly basis. Through this yearly performance, people are able to get in touch with this traditional art. Each performance will involve 20 to 30 performers.
Performers Appreciation Day
All the performers/talents will come together on sharing their experiences with others. Tang Renaissance will be inviting professional teachers in China to share the latest news and insights of Chinese Opera.
